Jesus reserved his harshest words for those who were pretending their way to paradise:

Luke 11:42 ¶ “But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.”

Authentic followers of Christ pursue love first. Then do acts of service when they have been filled with love from God.

Authentic followers of Christ receive others as they themselves were received:

Rom. 15:7 Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.

No one is perfect and no one is complete except for God. So there is no need to pretend. But we do need to rely on each other for love, support and guidance.

At Robert Gray we accept one another as we were accepted. Then we plant and water watching for God to do his work of transforming all of us into His image. If this is what you are looking for give us a call!

God Bless, Pastor Eric
